Asbestos Packing with Moly Lubricant
Style 562 is manufactured from white chrysotile asbestos and Moly suspension. Prior to braiding, each strand of asbestos is individually coated with the Moly Suspension by a unique yarn coating process to accurately control and evenly disperse the lubricant. Finally the Fibres are saturated with oil to assist with break-in, The packing is then braided with an interbraid structure.

The
use of Asbestos gland packing is harmful to your health and can cause
asbestosis. We recommend our style 510, 522 or 540 as an asbestos
