Asbestos Packing with PTFE suspension and oil
Style 562 is manufactured from white chrysotile asbestos and PTFE suspension. Prior to braiding, each strand of asbestos is individually coated with PTFE by a unique yarn coating process to accurately control and evenly disperse the lubricant. Finally the Fibres are saturated with oil to assist with break-in, The packing is then braided with an interbraid structure.

The
use of Asbestos gland packing is harmful to your health and can cause
