Asbestos Packing with PTFE suspension
Style 560 is manufactured from white chrysotile asbestos and PTFE suspension. Prior to braiding, each strand of asbestos is individually coated with PTFE by a unique yarn coating process to accurately control and evenly disperse the lubricant. The packing is then braided with interbraid structure.

The
use of Asbestos gland packing is harmful to your health and can cause
asbestosis. We recommend our style 510, 522 or 540 as an asbestos
