Style 542 Gland Packing

   PTFE graphite packing with moderate strength fibers
 

Style 542 is densely braided from PTFE / Graphite composite yarns. This packing combines the highest temperature and surface speed capability combined with the broadest chemical resistance. An inert break-in lubricant reduces burnout in difficult start-up situation.

·        pH 0 – 14
·        Surfaces Speed up to 25M/sec.
·        Pressure up to 150 bar.
·        Temperature: -200° C to +280° C
