Style
522 is a modern general service packing and is a good replacement for
Asbestos. Style 522 combines two outstanding materials KEVLARŪ and Gore
GFO, in such a way that they enhance each other.
KEVLARŪ has steel like strength whilst PTFE / Graphite provide excellent
surface lubrication.
Style 522 virtually eliminates shaft scoring and with its high thermal conductivity allows for cool operation.
Style 522 S incorporated a silicone core to allow the pack to flex in high defection applications such as in agitators.
